WPU’s Esports Lab Featured on ABC11 News

WPU’s new esports and gaming lab with high-powered computers and gaming chairs was featured on an ABC11 News story. The lab opened in the fall 2021 semester to coincide with the launch of two new majors: Esports and Gaming Administration and Interactive Design. The new majors join Simulation and Game Design, and the lab will be used for all three.

The lab features 10 Alienware Aurora R12 gaming desktops with 11th-gen Core i9 processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080/10GB GDDR6x, and 32GB of RAM. Students sit in Secretlab TITAN Evo 2022 Series gaming chairs.
