Ann Horner

Interim Development Associate

In Ann Horner’s temporary role with WPU she serves the Advancement Office by assisting with hiring and onboarding, helping to manage direct marketing fundraising strategies, and filling in where needed.  Ann brings to us 30+ years of higher education fundraising and leadership experience from several large public universities and a private medical school. She chairs her neighborhood’s garden club and spends her off time in the yard.  Her husband, Jim, continues teaching part-time after a career as a professor and the Director of Public Safety Leadership Initiative at NC State.  They enjoy gardening, reading, hiking the greenways, and time with family in SC and PA.

“I am so happy to be a part of William Peace University helping President Ralph and the faculty and staff share its special story.  Peace’s history, charm, and beauty match its dedication to our students.   I am proud to help ensure the resources critical to their  future.”
