My name is Jess Waddell (pronouns: she/her/hers) and I am the Academic Success Coach for the School of Professional Studies. I relocated to the Raleigh area from Southern California where I worked for eight years at a private liberal arts university primarily supporting veterans and adult students enrolled in an accelerated bachelor’s degree completion program. My professional background is in academic counseling and educational leadership, and I am very passionate about creating safe spaces for students and helping them achieve their goals. On a personal note, I enjoy all things outdoors, spending time with loved ones, good food and craft coffee. I am also an avid Dodgers fan.
