Dr. M-P is a staple of Psychology at WPU.

Dr. Meginnis-Payne is a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the treatment of adult depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. She teaches a variety of classes at Peace, including General Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Counseling Theories & Techniques, Introduction to Women’s Studies, and Psychology of the Black Experience. Her academic interests include the intersectionalities of identity (race, class, gender) and the impact of oppression and trauma, and how these shape the individual and collective experience. Dr. Meginnis-Payne lives in Raleigh with her husband and two children.
