Mindy McDowell, LCMHCA

Assistant Director of Counseling and Disability Services

Mindy McDowell is a Massachusetts native, but has lived in many different places including four years in England. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Bates College and has worked in a variety of clinical mental health settings with populations ranging from adolescent to geriatric. After becoming an empty-nester, Mindy went back to school and earned a M.Ed. in College Counseling and Student Development from NC State University. She enjoys working with emerging adults and helping all students successfully transition to college and beyond. Outside of work, Mindy enjoys cooking, live music, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and her certified therapy dog, Rylee.
