Robin Vincent, M.Ed.

Associate Professor of Education; Department Chair of Education

Professor Vincent began her career over 30 years  as an elementary school teacher in Wake County Public Schools.  Her primary areas of interest are k-12 literacy instruction, teacher preparation and student engagement.  She has taught students at all levels from kindergarten through college.  At William Peace University, Mrs. Vincent is a teacher educator, field placement supervisor, first year seminar instructor, and mentor to students. Mrs. Vincent can be found in a classroom with a student teacher modeling teaching strategies or cheering on the Pacers at a WPU Basketball game.  Mrs. Vincent enjoys making connections with students and forming community in the classroom.  She has three daughters (Gracie, Mary Frances, and Nancy) and loves to travel to the beach and the mountains with her husband and girls.

“There are too many things to choose from when deciding what I love most about WPU!”
