Academic & Career Advisor
Sean Smith

Sean joins the WPU family from Chicagoland, IL, where he accumulated over 18 years of experience advising, mentoring, and coaching college students. His proudest professional accomplishment was developing and coordinating a collegiate success program for male students of color, aimed at increasing retention and graduation rates. In addition to advising, Sean has also worked with University Housing (as an RA at SIUC), and also in Student Affairs. Relocating to Raleigh in 2021, he’s looking forward to a more laid-back atmosphere, expanding his dining palate, and experiencing all that North Carolina has to offer!

“From my first interview, to my first day on campus, to the first student I met – being at Peace has been a rewarding and exciting experience. Everyone here has made me feel welcome, warm, and wonderful to be a Pacer!”
