Faculty Profiles

Description

Faculty Profiles appear on related program pages, on the Meet Our Faculty page and as individual profile pages.

Adding and Editing Faculty Profiles

From the WordPress dashboard, click Profiles in the left menu to bring up the full listing. To edit an existing entry, click its name in the list; to add a new entry, click Add New at the top of the page.

Field Definitions

  • Title: the name of the person
  • Content: the editor field that collects the full biography of the person to appear on the detail view
  • Profile Type: the type of profile – used to filter into different parts of the website
  • Faculty Title: the position title to appear everywhere that the profile is displayed
  • Image: the image to appear everywhere that the profile is displayed
  • Video Link: the link to the YouTube video to load under the biography
  • Education: the section that describes the person’s education experience
  • Teaching: the section that describes the person’s teaching experience
  • Activities & Honors: the section that describes the person’s activities and honors
  • Research & Publications: the section that describes the person’s research and publications experience
  • Full Name: the full name of the person to appear in the right column callout
  • Last Name: used to sort profiles by last name on the Meet Our Faculty page
  • Location Link Text: the text for the location link
  • Location Link: the link to the location detail
  • Phone Number: the person’s phone number
  • Email: the person’s email address
  • Twitter Handle: the person’s Twitter handle – excluding the @ symbol
  • LinkedIn Link: the link to the person’s LinkedIn profile
  • YouTube Link: the link to a relevant YouTube profile
  • Program: the programs that the profile is related to
