WPU Names Fall 2017 Omicron Delta Kappa Inductees

Mar 6, 2018

William Peace University is proud to announce its fall 2017 inductees to Omicron Delta Kappa (ΟΔΚ), a national leadership honor society in the United States, with chapters, known as circles, at more than 300 college campuses.

The WPU Circle of ΟΔΚ, which started in 2008, has inducted more than 250 members. Membership in the Omicron Delta Kappa Society is regarded as one of the highest collegiate honors that can be awarded. To be selected as a member, a student must stand among the top 35 percent of all students at their given institution, as well as hold a leadership role in one of the society’s five areas of recognition.

“ΟΔΚ members represent the leaders of tomorrow and it’s truly an outstanding achievement for all of the new inductees.”

“I’m really excited to welcome all of our new members, which represent both a culturally and academic diverse group of students, faculty and staff,” said Lindsay Perry ’18, WPU Circle of ΟΔΚ President. “ΟΔΚ members represent the leaders of tomorrow and it’s truly an outstanding achievement for all of the new inductees.”

The society recognizes achievement in five areas: scholarship; athletics; campus and community service, social or religious activities, and campus government; journalism, speech and the mass media; and creative and performing arts.
